Tongs

The tongs are formed from two shaped, fabricated pieces joined with a sprung end. The edges are engraved with a feather edge, and the grippers are in the shape of acorns.

Marks

On inside of one tong, lion passant; maker's mark IH (similar to Grimwade 1374) (repeated on inside of other tong), (struck twice).
