Inscription

ARMORIALS: engraved on the back of stem, the crest of Lewes. INSCRIPTIONS: engraved on back of bowl, "John Goostrey Old Devil Temple Barr".

Marks

On the back of stem, maker's mark A (Grimwade 1); lion passant; ; date letter H; leopard's head crowned.
