The rectangular box of soft-paste porcelain, possibly the Mennecy factory, of basket form. Silver mounts in the rococo style, marked for Paris. The interior of the lid is painted in polychrome enamels with a portrait of the Archbishop Elector of Cologne, Clemens August.
