(Accession Date: December 24, 1965) NOTES:  In the catalogue of the 1938 Platt auction ("English and American Furniture," Parke-Bernet, New York, February 18-19, 1938, p. 44), this object, along with several other pieces of porcelain from the collection of Mrs. Platt, are said to have come from Popoff et Cie.
