On underside of kettle and lamp, maker's mark WA (Bennett, p. 178, no. 521)(struck twice) overstriking another, possibly TS for Thomas Sutton (Bennett, p. 177, no. 503); harp crowned (repeated on side of stand ring; side of each foot, top of lamp cover, underside of both handles, and bezel of kettle cover); date letter a.
