12th-14th centuries, commissioned for the Church of Hagiou Staurou, Jerusalem; 1910, frescoes cut from walls, and purchased by Johann Georg, Prince of Saxony (d. 1938); 1938, by inheritance to the heirs of the Prince; 1951, sold by the heirs to the MFA for $900. (Accession Date: September 13, 1951)
