Maker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, CPD, a rozier (Dennis, 119).Warden's mark: 1777-1778: a crowned O (Dennis, 17). Charge mark: for large wo rk, 1775-1781: a crowned A (Dennsi, 17). Discharge Mark: for small work, 1775-1781: a monkey's head (Dennis, 17). Other: general countermark, 1781-1789: clasped hands (Dennis, 312). The Maker's,and Warden's marks are on the body and the interior of the cover, the Charge mark is on the interior of the cover, the discharge mark is on the rim of the body, while the countermark is on the rim of the body and of the cover.
