According to tradition, John Foye of Boston, who married Sarah (1672-1721), daughter of Simon Lynde Foye (1706-1778) who married in 1729 Sarah Boucher (b. 1706), daughter of Louis Boucher of Boston, to their daughter, Elizabeth (b. 1735) who married David Munroe of Lexington, Massachusetts, to their daughter, Abigail (b. 1771) who married Willard Brigham of Marlborough, Massachusetts, to their daughter, Abigail (b. 1807) who married in 1836, Joseph Hill of West Cambridge, to their daughter, Harriet A. Hill, Gift of Miss Harriet A. Hill to the MFA in Memory of her mother Abigail Brigham Hill. (Accession Date: July 15, 1915)
