Mahogany, richly carved curved back, arm supports terminating in scrolls, front seat rail and legs with angular feet. Back legs plain cabriole with Dutch feet. Upholstered in Fulham tapestry, eagle and crown on back, lamb and crow on seat, within floral designs. Flowers of arms.

1941, Nicolas de Koenigsberg; 1941, sold by Koenigsberg to French and Company, New York (stock no. 75739); 1946, sold by French and Co. to the MFA for $5500. (Accession Date: March 14, 1946)
