Obverse: Inscribed at proper right "HOGARTH" and under bust "L.WYON". Reverse: Inscribed above "HE THROUGH THE EYE CORRECTS THE HEART", below "HOGARTH DES. and "L.WYON SC.", and in exergue "ART-UNION OF LONDON/1848".
