The rectangular salver has a shaped rim and incurved corners. It is formed from sheet, with an applied rim, cast in four parts. The four faceted scrolled feet are cast.
ARMORIALS: engraved in the center, the arms of Horn, Horne, Mathews, Matthews, Montfichett, or St. Owen impaling Hebden or Winchingam. INSCRIPTIONS: engraved on underside, "52=10"
On underside, maker's mark IR (Grimwade 1610) (struck twice); lion passant; leopard's head crowned; date letter K.
