1909, acquired in London, probably by Martha Codman Karolik (b. 1858 - d. 1948), Newport, RI [see note 1]; by descent to her husband, Maxim Karolik (b. 1893 - d. 1963), Newport and New York; 1964, bequest of Maxim Karolik to the MFA. (Accession Date: June 8, 1964) NOTES: [1] According to information in the MFA curatorial files, this ring was "bought in London, 1909." It was probably purchased there by Martha Codman Karolik.
