1964, probably the cup and saucer sold at Sotheby & Co., London, 7 July, lot 42 (as "property of Monsieur Woldemar Wehrlin"); purchased at that sale by Leon Grinberg [see note 1]; by 1965, Thorton R. Wilson (1886-1977); 1965, lent by him to the MFA; 1983, bequest of Thornton R. Wilson to the MFA.
