(Accession Date: June 3, 1948) NOTES: [1] The Dowdeswell archives were said to have recorded a 1631 portrait of a woman on panel, signed and dated by Cornelis Jonson, measuring 16 x 13 inches. See A. J. Finberg, "A Chronological List of Portraits by Cornelis Jonson," Walpole Society 10 (1922), p. 21.
