Inscribed at edge "PETRVS·IEANNIN·REG·CHRIST·A.SECR·CONS·ET·SAC·AERA·PRAEF" [last three letters overlapping bust] ["Pierre Jeannin, member of the private council of the most Christian king, superintendant of finances"] and below bust "·G·DVPRE·F·1618·".
