Obverse: Inscribed above "LA BELGIQVE SE SOVVIENDRA", at proper left, a "J" and "L" incised within a circle, separated by vertical line, and below in script "Georges Petit.1916". Reverse: Inscribed on hull "COMM.FOR RELIEF/IN BELGIUM", and below a "J" and "L" incised within a circle, separated by vertical line and "G.P.".
