Reverse: Inscribed at proper right "C" overlapping "P" and at edge of three medallions above, from proper right to left "GENERAL PETAIN", "GENERAL·NIVELLE·", and "GENERAL·DE·GURIERES·DE·CASTELNAU·"; inscribed at center "·A·/·LA·GLOIRE·/·DES·HÉROS·DE/·VERDUN·/·MCMXVI·".
