FILIVS·EQVES·AC·COMES·PATRIAE ["A" and "E" elisioned together]·PRINCEPS·AC·LIBERTATIS·COLVMEN ["M" and "E" elisioned together]" ["Giovanni II Bentivoglio, son of Annibale, knight and count, first of his country and supporter of liberty"]. Reverse: Inscribed at edge "OPVS·SPERANDEI".
