Provenance

By 1735, Paolo Brustolone (b. 1664- d. 1735) [see note 1]. 1944, Ephron Gallery, New York; 1944, sold by the Ephron Gallery to the MFA for $175. (Accession Date: June 8, 1944) Notes: [1] Paolo Brustolone was the artist's brother, heir and collaborator. His ownership is suggested by an inscription dated August 20, 1735 on the back of the piece.
