Obverse: Inscribed at edge "EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE" and at center "1889" and in exergue "Trovis BoTTÉE". Reverse: Inscribed at proper left "Louis BoTTÉE", at proper right "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" and on rectangular tablet "POULET".
