Inscription

ARMORIALS: engraved in the wellof the central dish, and in each smaller dish,the crest of Bouverie beneath a viscount's coronet, for Sir Jacob des Bouverie, third Baronet, of Longford, Wiltshire, (1694-1761). INSCRIPTIONS: engraved on underside of central dish, 142=10.

Marks

On the side of stand between branches, on underside of center dish, and on bezels of each small dish, date letter u; lion passant; maker's mark EW in monogram (Grimwade 656); leopard's head crowned.
