Cup with painted decoration

This is a large cup with a pulled ring base and straight rim. It has been treated on both interior and exterior with a red-orange slip. The exterior also carries brown painted lines on the rim and disbursed on the body.

Provenance

From Qurta (ASN1223/18). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: August 23, 2006)
