Flattened Vessel

A flattened vase form covered primarily with a matte black glaze, and with a panel on the front with a geometric patterning of light blue, mint green, and mottled white matte glaze. The inside of the vessel, visible over the foreshortened front lip, is covered in a matte mint green glaze

Late 1980s, purchased by Georgia Mickey in London; By 1994, acquired by Eric J. Zetterquist, New York; August 22, 1994, sold by Eric J. Zetterquist to Daphne Farago, Little Compton, RI; 2012, year-end gift of the Daphne Farago Collection to the MFA. (Accession Date: February 27, 2013)
