Constructing Clothing

The goal of this lesson is for students to learn about what is part of the process of making clothing. Students should leave with the idea that every piece of clothing they wear is part of a larger artistic process. Designers have to think about both the design of the fabric and the design of the garment. Students should also leave with an understanding of the complicated process to make the clothes they wear everyday.
