Black-topped redware bowl

Balck-topped redware pot, black interior with vertical burnish strokes, exterior is horizontally burnished, round base and inverting rim. Shows very little wear.

From Qurta (ASN118/3/3). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
