Bes pendants

Two small Bes pendants, one complete and one fragmentary. They have a flat back, the figure of Bes is facing right, with knees bent and hands raised in front. The glaze is light blue.

Provenance

From Egypt, Giza, St. 7000 in debris on floor. 1926 : excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
