This somewhat squat, bag-shaped jar has a flat base and pulled, everted rim. Polished redware with a thick, crusty residue inside.

Provenance

From Demhid, Sham Nishai (Egypt). (ASN 45/135, 1908). Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: June 15, 2006)
