Obverse: at top, in Devanagari, 2 line inscription. Doha of Bihari- jure ki dohan- eyes of two are locked. Sideways on top, in Devanagari, chandrabhisarikaki, later note, misinterpreting image.

Provenance

Purchased in India by Ananda Coomaraswamy prior to 1916. Purchased by Denman Waldo Ross in 1917. Given to the MFA in 1917.
