On the front: In the top border - Now the Rishi came to the village of Devasvara and saw the events. Then he fainted and fell down. Getting up again, as he prepared to leave for another city, he heard some noises; there were some deer tied to the rope.

Purchased by the MFA in 1987 from a Bloomington, Indiana collector. Formerly in a London private collection.
