Sold at Christie's, March 20, 1967, from the Property of a Gentleman, Illustrated in catalogue. Morrill purchased from auction through Spink and Son, Ltd., London. Received import license from US Customs service, June 24, 1972. On loan to the Museum, June 27, 1972. Made a gift 1974.
