On a separate piece of paper, presumably the original cover page, now glued to modern backing, in Devanagari: "Doha. Radhahari Hariradha ke vania sanketa. Dampati rati viparita sush sahaija surat hun laet. 1" Translation, by Coomaraswamy: "The station of Radha being made Hari and Hari, Radha, The twain with affections transposed, easily attain to blissful union." In English, on front of modern backing, apparently in the hand of Coomaraswamy: "He maketh Himself as we are, that we may be as he is."
