1968, library of the Maharaja of Bikaner [see note 1]. Sold from a private collection to Kapoor Galleries, New York; 1999, sold by Kapoor Galleries to the MFA. (Accession Date: December 15, 1999) NOTES: [1] The painting bears the 1968 inventory stamp of the library of the Maharaja of Bikaner. The Maharaja sold much of his collection in Europe in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
