Collected by Richard Parkinson, 1893-95. Formerly in the collections of the Museum fuer Voelkerkunde, Dresden, Germany (accession no. 12116). Everett Rassiga, about 1971. Ex-collection Walter Randel. Ex-collection John Friede. Purchased from Wayne Heathcote, New York, July 1982. Given to the MFA by William and Bertha Teel in 1991.
