By 1913, Mr. Frank Gair Macomber (b. 1849 - d. 1941); 1913, partial gift [see note] of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gair Macomber to the MFA. (Accession Date: June 5, 1913) Note: 288 pieces of Chinese & Japanese pottery and porcelain from the collection of Mr. Frank Gair Macomber were purchased by the MFA for $27,500, of which Mrs. Macomber contributed $2,500.
