This lesson will focus on building a story. Students will think about action, motion, and the plot. What are the components of a story? Students will explore different types of artwork that tell stories. 

Gallery Activity 1:

Get into groups of 3. Create a dialogue for the characters in the artwork. What would they say? How would they say it? How might they behave?

Gallery Activity 2: 

Create a new title for the artwork. If it were a movie, what would the trailer be like? Act it out!! 

Gallery Activity 3: 

Puppets and imovie. Make a puppet for your movie. Create a title and title page. 

How to build a good story: 1. Plot 2. Characters 3. Scene

Tropes: love, good vs evil, redemption, david/goliath, etc.
