Vessel fragments

Five fragments probably of one spherical vase; faded blue glaze outside; between bands of geometric patterns are: above, band of fish and water plants; below, panel with gazelle, with vertical band of hieroglyphics. C seems to be missing.

Provenance

From Nubia, Kerma, K1804 X and K1805 X. January, 1914:excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
