Tomb relief of Mose

Start collecting

Fragment of limestone sunk relief from the tomb of Mose. Mose is shown on the left, wearing pleated garments and with the shaven head of a priest. He raises his arms in reverence to the goddess Isis, who faces him on the right. Between them is an offering table laden with food and floral offerings.

By 1974: with Jean Loup Despras, Paris; purchased by the MFA from Jean-Loup Despras, May 8, 1974.
