Thin band with stamped decoration: Battle of the gods and the giants

This band has been stamped or beaten from the same mold as object 01.7528. Save for fragments, it lacks the figures at either end and almost all the central group. Partly copper-colored, partly green.

By date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in Rome: found, as is certain, in a tomb in the necropolis of Bomarzo.); purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren, December 1901
