From Hermopolis (originally from el-Amarna). Excavated by the Deutschen Hermopolis-Expedition between 1929 and 1939 (Roeder, Amarna Reliefs, no. 125); by 1962: with Michel Abemayor; 1962: purchased by the MFA from Michel Abemayor, April 11, 1962.
