String of beads and amulets

This string is comprised of two stylized Eye of Horus (wedjat) ? amulets, one large rectangular bead with incised line decoration, eleven biconical beads, twenty-four short black cylinder beads, seven striped cylinder beads, and six plain cylinder beads.


From Egypt, Abydos, tomb D 79. 1901: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund. (Accession date: October 1, 1901)
