String of beads

This string of consists of twenty-four various plain and variegated glass beads of different shapes and sizes in assorted green colors. There are ten cylinder beads, one facetted cylinder bead, two ring beads, seven barrel beads and four of various shapes.

Provenance

From Egypt, Tell Nabasha (Am). 1886, excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the EEF by the Egyptian government; presented to the MFA at EEF fifth annual general meeting; sent over June 1, 1887. (Accession date: June 1, 1887)
