Statuette of Tityros

Start collecting

Tityros, half reclining. Goat feet, horns, pointed ears, arms raised as if fluting, a rhyton on the rock before him. Greenish yellow and red on rock; pale blue on horns. The end of the left horn is gone. Other breaks.

By 1901: with E. P. Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in Boston: seems certainly Boeotian.); purchased by MFA from E. P. Warren, December 1901
