Stater of Metapontion with head of Dionysos

Obverse: Head of young Dionysos left in diadem with maeander pattern and tie-ends hanging at back; above it, row of upright ivy leaves; hair long, loose locks escaping on crown; below chin a Greek sigma or epsilon (off flan). Reverse: Ear of barley with leaf right.
