The stone is fine and coarse grained. It is also red-veined and wavy-lined. There is no ring at the top. The base is rounded, and the rim is inverted. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.


From Egypt, Giza, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
