Start collecting

D ware, squat ovoid shape, with a round base, flaring rim, and 2 tubular lug handles that are decorated with wavy red lines. Body is decorated with red spirals and a few wavy lines. Brown fabric with a cream slip. Jar is complete but has many cracks and a slightly irregular shape.

From Mesaid tomb 769 [M/769/1]. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
