This ring is from the intact burial of a male child. The round, intaglio bezel features a central star surrounded by an undulating pattern. Numerous amulets and glass bead necklaces were recovered from the tomb.

From Meroe, Beg. W 308. January 1922: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
