D ware; globular shoulder type, flat base, flat everted rim; tubular lug handles; brown ware, pinkish surface decorated with palms, and S shaped birds coming from a box in red; 5 straight lines around rim; some chipping and wear.
From Mesaid tomb 832 [M/832/1] Mesa'eed. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt. Does not seem to be an object register number for this object, but is on tomb card.
