This object part of a sandle made from cowhide, with some strands of hair still adhering (i.e. hair side of the hide faces inward). Though torn with pieces missing, still evident are a back loop strap and a small segment of the top strap. (Accession Date: March 1, 1920)

From Kerma, KIII, Hall A. December 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date March 1, 1920)
