Faience rim fragment. There is a blue glaze inside. The outside is glazed in horizontal stripes, alternating light and dark blue. Note: had been mislabeled in OR and accession card as 14-1-1147, is actually 14-1-1197.

From Nubia, Kerma, K1600C. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
