Relief of Qar seated before a table of offerings

This large block from a tomb chapel decorated in low raised relief shows the tomb owner, Qar, seated before a table of offerings. The color is largely preserved. the block is in pieces, but the scene is nearly complete.

From Giza, tomb G 7101 (tomb of Qar), stairway. 1925: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession Date: May 1, 1925)
